Thinking of escaping to the country? Tired of work or the city and just need to ‘fly the coup’ for a few days for some rest and relaxation? This quaint one-bedroom suite could be exactly the place you're looking for! This suite accommodates a maximum of 2 persons age 10 and over, additional sleeping for 2 more persons age 9 and under (local by-law 4518-2019). Cleaning and linens are included. PLEASE READ BELOW FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS SPACE AND AMENITIES:

  • This second level suite is accessed by outdoor stairs and private entrance - NOT and Entire Residence
  • LINENS & CLEANING ARE INCLUDED, however before checkout, ALL guests are expected to do their dishes, remove all food, take out the garbage/recycling, move items back to original spots, and to leave the suite tidy
  • Sheets, towels, bath mats, kitchen linens, pillows, & blankets are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
  • Toilet paper, paper towels, salt/pepper, dish soap, garbage/recycling bags, and BBQ propane are supplied
  • ONE beach pass is included for use during your stay
  • Guests are expected to bring their own personal supplies such as bath soap, shampoo, hair dryer etc
  • Drinking Water: The water supply comes from a well, therefore Ontario water regulations advise that you either purchase drinking water or boil it before using it for drinking.
  • Features Available: Bell Fiber Optics internet, TV/DVD; Central Air Conditioning; kitchenette (read further for details)

    While you're visiting, maybe visit the vineyards and wineries of beautiful Prince Edward County, explore the quaint villages, shop the boutiques and artists galleries, or perhaps take in some homegrown music at a pub or two. Then again, maybe you're after the sun and surf of our famous Sandbanks Provincial Park as well as nearby North Beach.


    The Roost is conveniently located on the north-west side of Prince Edward County near the 401 (Wooler Road exit), just 5 km off of Hwy #33. It's located close to the city of Trenton - home of CFB Trenton, Canada’s largest Military Base and Air Force Museum, as well as nearby Belleville, featuring the Quinte Mall and& The Empire Theatre.The Roost is situated on Old Orchard Road, a lovely drive just off of Rednersville Road (County road #3) in the area of many prestigious homes. Campbell's Orchards and Apple Falls Cidery are just 2 km away.


    Accessible by private stairs to the back of the house, your second story retreat comes with two inviting upper decks – one on the south side, where you can go out and enjoy a morning coffee as the sun greets you with warmth and the birds sing in the surrounding pines and evergreens. A bistro set for two is located there for your pleasure. The second upper deck is 8' x 25', located on the north side, with a lovely water view of the Bay of Quinte. This deck houses a BBQ plus table and chairs for outdoor entertaining.


    A patio door off of the living room/kitchenette area provides you a lovely view, and access to the deck. Although not a full-service kitchen, the kitchenette provides all of the appliances to fry, bake, toast, boil and reheat. The living room area has a comfortable couch with a chaise lounge which opens to a double bed, a TV, DVD player, an electric fireplace, and a kitchen table with chairs. Your large separate bedroom is fitted with a king-sized bed, dresser, clothes hang up and overlooks the back garden. It's so private and quiet, it's like a small oasis! The entrance hallway provides additional space for coats and shoes and the three-piece bathroom is located off of this area. There's plenty of parking on the property, and a safe area for bikes if needed. As a year-round rental, you can visit The County in all seasons. The Roost is a great location! All roads lead to fun!

    Open concept Living room with kitchenette & dining area. Enjoy a scenic view of the Bay of Quinte from the large patio doors which provide access to the deck. The living room area features a comfortable sofa with chaise lounge as well as an electric fireplace.

    Entertainment options include an HD TV and Blu-ray player as well as Apple TV for streaming movies and such. DVD collection available (no cable or satellite service).
