Located in the Outlet River just east of Sandbanks Provincial Park, this contemporary four bedroom cottage provides a central location for your holiday adventures. Relax on the back yard patio overlooking the river or meander down to the dock to try your luck at fishing. Grill dinner on the BBQ and dine al fresco in the fresh country air. End the day watching the sun set and roasting marshmallows around the campfire.

Miller Cottage, ideal for gatherings of family and friends, is a year round retreat located within a 10 minute walk of the beach and less than a 20 minute drive from the conveniences of Picton. A beach pass is included with rentals. This cottage is also pet friendly so guests are welcome to bring the family dog.

The main level of the cottage features an open concept living - dining - kitchen area as well as a full bathroom and a small den. The upper level provides three bedrooms plus another full bathroom with a laundry area. For even larger groups, you can also rent the nearby 49 Outlet Road, a two bedroom cottage just steps away.

Popular local activities include kayaking, canoeing, windsurfing, swimming, sailing, fishing, hiking, cycling, bird watching, and of course the popular Sandbanks beaches. And while staying at Miller Cottage, you're within 20 minutes of many other local attractions including wineries, artisan and antique shops, fine restaurants and pubs, golf courses, theatres, farm markets, and lots of Loyalist heritage.

You are less than 20 minutes from Picton where you'll find groceries and all the basic supplies you'll need for your vacation. You'll also find that Prince Edward County is conveniently close to Toronto (2 hours), Ottawa (3 hours), and Montreal (4 hours) so you can visit as often as you like.

Large dining table seats up to eight comfortably.

Pine paneled room with view of the river and sliding doors that access the river-view patio. Lots of seating space.

Please note that fireplace is not available for guest use.

Small den on the main level features a TV and DVD player. There is a second TV and DVD player in the basement.

Linens, Supplies & Cleaning
  • Blankets and pillows are provided. Sheets, towels, bath mats  and kitchen linens are NOT included but can be provided for an additional fee ($19.00/set sheets; $9.50/set towels)
  • Toilet paper, paper towels, salt & pepper, dish & dishwasher detergent, BBQ propane, and garbage bags are supplied
  • Drinking Water – The water supply comes from a well, therefore Ontario water regulations require that you either purchase drinking water or boil it before using it for drinking.
  • Cleaning service is included in the rental rate therefore guests are not required to clean at check-out; however all guests are expected to do their dishes, take out the garbage, move items back to original spots, and to leave the cottage tidy.

  • Responsible dogs and dog owners are welcome. Pet fee applies: $65/week or $13/night. Max 1 dog.
