County Holiday Homes provides a variety of services including rental management, marketing, and property management for out-of-town hosts. We encourage the homeowner to mix and match the various services to suit their needs.

FULL-SERVICE Rental Management is the best choice for the first time host or those who prefer to be hands off.

We start by visiting your property to:

  • to assess it and determine a potential rental rate,
  • make recommendations to maximize its income potential,
  • discuss the services that we can provide.

FULL-SERVICE Rental Management includes:

  • professional photos
  • professionally designed webpage including booking schedule/availability calendar and direct link to Airbnb
  • listing on our Search page
  • listing on Airbnb
  • premium ad on VisittheCounty.ca that links directly to host webpage
  • professional guest services representatives will field inquiries and screen prospective guests
  • toll-free phone service from anywhere in North America and extended office hours during prime booking months
  • collection of guest rental payments and security deposits via Airbnb; host is paid by Airbnb using direct deposit
  • guest follow-up after check-out
  • regular communications with hosts to provide booking details, seasonal reminders & tips, and guest feedback
  • online host account with access to calendar, statements and receipts
  • representation on Prince Edward County Chamber of Commerce
  • information package for guests i.e. house rules, check-in and check-out procedures, instructions for use and care of specific items such as septic tanks, garbage disposal, emergency telephone numbers, cleaning check list, etc.
  • supply of tourist brochures & magazines
  • correspondence with confirmed guests to answer their questions and provide them with key codes, maps & directions, etc. before they check in
  • annual summary of rental revenues

Marketing services can include:

  • management of social media pages

Property Services includes the management and maintenance of a holiday home during guest stays and changeovers and can include:

  • housekeeping between guest changeovers, including refilling of guest supplies (i.e. toilet paper, garbage bags)
  • laundry service (when applicable)
  • cleaning of outdoor amenity areas & BBQs
  • pickup/disposal of garbage and recyclables
  • BBQ propane tank refills
  • inspecting property condition for security deposit refunds
  • being primary contact for guests during their stay and responding to questions and problems reported by guests
  • being listed as 'responsible person' contact for STA license
  • advising host of maintenance issues
  • provision of guest supplies
