Seeking Housekeeping Contractors: Seasonal, Part-Time

We are seeking Housekeeping Contractors to clean on rental turnover days at vacation properties located in Prince Edward County, Ontario. Housekeeping is required on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in July and August, and various days May through October depending on need. Main responsibilities are cleaning (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms, kitchens etc.), laundry, making beds, restocking guest supplies, some outdoor work such as cleaning BBQ’s, sweeping decks, wiping patio furniture, and ensuring that the property is guest ready.

The ideal candidate is hardworking, trustworthy, reliable, responsible, observant, able to follow directions and work independently, organized, and a good time manager. Candidate should also be reasonably fit as this is a very physical job. Properties that will require housekeeping are located in areas all across Prince Edward County, Ontario, such as Wellington, Bloomfield, Cherry Valley, Milford, South Bay, East Lake, West Lake, Waupoos, Cressy, and Picton.

Housekeeping experience in the hospitality or vacation rental industry is an asset. Access to email, internet, and cell phone is required. Applicants must have their own reliable transportation and valid driver's licence. Current criminal background check required and applicants should be located within Prince Edward County or the Quinte area.

The start time of each assigned day is 11:00 am and hours can range, up to a maximum of 5 hours per shift.

Starting wage is $20.00 per hour.
