Services for Property Owners

County Holiday Homes provides a variety of services including rental management, website set up and marketing, and property management for "out-of-town" property owners. The homeowner can mix and match the various services to suit their needs. 


Rental Management includes:

  • viewing and assessing the property
  • taking photos of the property for web marketing
  • developing a booking schedule and a short-term rental agreement customized for the property
  • assisting the property owner with the development of an information package for guests i.e. house rules, check-in and check-out procedures, etc.
  • providing a local attractions package for guests
  • providing a contact point and replying to  inquiries
  • accepting toll-free calls from anywhere in North America
  • screening prospective guests according to conditions  set by owner i.e.  number of persons, smoking, pets
  • tracking reservations and traffic to your website
  • corresponding with confirmed guests and providing them with information, keys, directions, etc.
  • collecting deposits and rental payments
  • accepting credit card payments as well as cheques or money orders
  • following up with guests after check-out and refunding security deposits
  • providing monthly invoices and an annual statement of rental revenues to the owner

We personally visit your property to:

  • assess your property and collect information

  • assist in determining the potential rental rate

  • make any recommendations we may have to maximize your income potential

  • we can also arrange to photograph your property inside & out
     

We create:

  • a database file for your property, used for matching client requests with your property facilities and any special requirements you have

  • a property information package for the client which includes your household rules, instructions for use and care of specific items such as septic tanks, garbage disposal, emergency telephone numbers, cleaning check list, etc.

  • map and directions to your property

  • a customized website for your property

  • a listing on our website

  • web ads to connect potential clients to your website

     

Marketing services can include:

  • professionally designed website
  • digital picture taking
  • premium ad in the Prince Edward County www.pec.on.ca tourism website
  • listing on the County Holiday Homes website
  • ads in local, provincial, and global websites
  • general marketing and promotion of your property
  • representation on Prince Edward Chamber of Tourism & Commerce, Taste the County, and County Campground & Cottage Association

Property Management services can include:

  • cleaning service between guest changeovers
  • laundry service
  • pickup/disposal of garbage and recyclables
  • restocking of consumable supplies (i e. toilet tissue, garbage bags)
  • inspecting property condition for security deposit refunds
  • responding to problems reported by guests
