Relax on the deck adjoining the kitchen while your children frolic safely on the fenced back lawn. Custom built by Harry Jolley, this upscale Wellington residence offers original Edwardian features plus a multitude of modern amenities.
The sound of the waves from Lake Ontario will lull you to sleep under our cotton matelasse coverlets. Each bedroom has been designed for easy reading with wall lights over every bed. Additional ceiling fans and window air conditioners offer guests a variety of selections. All bedrooms contain antique dressers plus a variety of period lamps and accents. The separate main floor suite
has a double futon bed. It includes 10’ ceilings, a 3-piece bathroom, sliding doors to a private cedar deck and a landscaped boardwalk to the back garden. In the sitting area, a gas fireplace, loveseat, coffee table, and easy chair make this a perfect private getaway.
To accommodate a variety of interests, there are several TV viewing areas and three porches or decks. In addition to the living room, there is a reading room comprising overstuffed chairs and a well stocked bookcase. The spectacular dining table with Windsor chairs provides seating for 8. Other eating areas include the wraparound porch, tables on the decks and a large ground-level slate patio,
steps from the barbeque. 7 deck chairs are available. Parking is for 3 or 4 cars. Since the house is on a corner, it can accommodate a small trailer or a boat trailer. There is an outside clothes line.
The Jolley House is centrally located for you to explore The County and is within walking distance of a large grocery store, variety store, pharmacy, hardware store, restaurants, post office, museum, library offering free Internet service, a waterfront park and play ground.
