The Getaway, Adolphustown

The Getaway is a modern, cozy 2 bedroom cottage located on Bass Cove on the Bay of Quinte. It comes complete with standard cottage amenities and a wood-burning sauna. The kitchen and dining area has recently been renovated and all of the flooring in the cottage has been updated with natural pine planking.

The Bay of Quinte is a popular spot for walleye and bass fishing and The Getaway offers 100 feet of private waterfront and a 40 foot dock for your use and pleasure. If you love boating, swimming, fishing, or simply relaxing, The Getaway is the place for you!

If you're looking for adventure, the Adolphustown area is well known for its Loyalist history and agriculture, and it's now home to two wineries. You're about 40 minutes from Kingston and you're only a 10 minute free ferry ride from the many popular attractions of Prince Edward County including artisan and antique shops, fine restaurants and pubs, theatres, a zoo, wineries, and the famous Sandbanks Beach. 2 bedrooms - 1 queen bed in master bedroom, 2 single beds and a double futon in second bedroom. Two single cots are also available Sleeps 8.
BATHROOM

1 bathroom - 4 piece bathroom with claw foot tub with high sides. Note: the space is tight.

KITCHEN &

DINING AREA

Well equipped galley style kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker. Large eating area with table and chairs. Recently renovated.

 Open concept and cozy - large picture window overlooks the water - door leads to deck.

CLEANING

Blankets and pillows are provided. Please bring your own sheets, towels, and kitchen linens.

Toilet paper, salt & pepper, dish soap, and garbage bags will be supplied.

Cleaning service is not included.
POLICIES
  • Maximum 8 persons - no more than 6 adults
  • No pets
  • No smoking in the cottage
  • Check-in 3:00 pm
  • Check-out 11:00 am
  • $250 security deposit

  • High Season (June 28/08 - Aug 29/08) - weekly rentals only, Saturday to Saturday
  • Low Season (May 2/08 - Jun 27/08, Aug 30/08 - Jun 26/09) - minimum of one week
