Ideally located at the eastern edge of rolling Northumberland County, at the gateway to Prince Edward County and within easy proximity to all eastern Ontario has to offer, Chestnut Ridge House is minutes from 2 world class golf courses, several provincial parks such as Goodrich-Loomis and only 15 minutes to Presqu’ile Provincial Park with it’s beach, boardwalk, many rare bird species, walking trails & historic lighthouse. This retreat-like house is situated in a perfect spot where a leisurely walk or a short drive in any direction can take you to whatever interests you. You can even take a themed driving route!

How about a great game of golf?

With a world class golf course only 5 minutes away you can hit the 18 holes & have steaks on the BBQ in no time. Beyond the idyllic stream in the backyard, lies the 15th hole!

Take in local community art studios and theatres especially Brighton’s Barn Theatre, the Memory Junction Train Museum, seasonal festivals like the apple route and area orchards, wineries, chocolate factories and spas.

Enjoy Restaurants, Tea Rooms, antiquing and there is almost always a weekly auction at Waddingtons renowned auction house.

Be sure to treat yourself to ‘The Gables' as listed in the National Restaurant Guide "Where to Eat in Canada". Right in downtown Brighton, it offers fine European cuisine in an elegantly yet relaxed, renovated 1872 Victorian home. It never disappoints.
