Perched above the water along the south shore of the upper Bay of Quinte, Big Backyard provides an ideal country experience, fishing included. A comfortable two bedroom vacation home complete with laundry facilities and a 3 car garage. Enjoy the wonderful views of the bay, the spacious yard, and the immaculately maintained barns and then meander down to the dock at waterside or take a hike through the fields behind the house. End the day by roasting marshmallows and telling tales around the campfire, play a game of cards in the dining room, or curl up with a good book in the den.

The Bay of Quinte is a popular spot for walleye and bass fishing and Big Backyard offers private waterfront and a 22' dock for your use and pleasure. This is a great location for boating, swimming, and fishing, and the local roads are ideal for cycling, too.

Big Backyard On The Bay, Northport

Big Backyard On The Bay is located about 20 minutes north of Picton near the hamlet of Northport, and only about 10 minutes from the 401.

While you're here, be sure to check out the attractions of Prince Edward County including the wineries and vineyards, and the famous Sandbanks Beach. If you're looking for adventure, you can tour the local wineries, spend the day at one of the local beaches or spas, shop and browse in the boutiques, artisan and antique shops, dine out at a fine restaurant or pub, play a round of golf, tour the County on bicycle, try your luck at fishing, or check out the local farm markets.
