The County White House

The County White House is an executive style country retreat located in the heart of Prince Edward County. Located halfway between Toronto and Ottawa, it's a wonderful spot for family get-togethers & vacations, meetings & retreats away from the office, or a country adventrue. And this extensively renovated farmhouse is no more than 20 minutes from all popular destinations in 'The County' including the Sandbanks Provincial Park.

The sleeping space consists of three spacious bedrooms and each bedroom has access to a balcony with a wonderful view of the local countryside. There are two bathrooms and laundry facilities on the 2nd level plus a 3rd bathroom on the main floor. The fully equipped country style kitchen features two dishwashers, Jenn-Air propane range & combination convection/conventional oven, and a large harvest table; the bright and roomy living room offers a wood fireplace and corner sitting area; add a cozy den and a sun room with lots of windows facing the east – a great place to sip your morning coffee.

For outdoor living space (in addition to the two upstairs balconies), there is a BBQ patio with dining table, a couple of small decks on the front, and another dining table and lounge chairs in the backyard. Horse shoe pits and a fire pit are also available. The grounds consist of 2.5 acres of lawn surrounded by farm fields and buildings – a peaceful and picturesque setting.

While you're here, be sure to check out the many attractions of Prince Edward County including the wineries and vineyards, and the famous Sandbanks Provincial Park & Beach.
