Bhagyam House


Bhagyam House, a private Lake Ontario four-bedroom retreat, is located on the southwestern shoreline of Prince Edward County. This property accommodates a maximum of 5 persons age 10 and over, additional sleeping for 2 more persons age 9 and under (local by-law 4518-2019). Cleaning included, linens not included but can be added for a fee. PLEASE READ BELOW FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS SPACE AND AMENITIES:


  • Accommodates a maximum of 5 persons age 10 and over, additional sleeping for 2 more persons age 9 and under (local by-law 4518-2019)
  • CLEANING IS INCLUDED, however before checkout, ALL guests are expected to do their dishes, remove all food, take out the garbage/recycling, move items back to original spots, and to leave the cottage tidy
  • Guests may book up to a maximum of two consecutive weeks
  • Sheets, towels, kitchen linens and bathmats ARE NOT INCLUDED, but can be added for a fee (sheets 18.00/set, towels 9.00/set)
  • Pillow and blankets are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
  • Toilet paper, paper towels, salt/pepper, dish soap, garbage/recycling bags, and BBQ propane are supplied
  • ONE beach pass included for use during your stay
  • Guests are expected to bring their own personal supplies such as bath soap, shampoo, hairdryer etc
  • Drinking Water: The water supply comes from a well, therefore Ontario water regulations advise that you either purchase drinking water or boil it before using it for drinking.

  • 268' of rocky beach with flat limestone ledges extending out into the water
  • The water is suitable for swimming with water shoes, but keep in mind that this is Lake Ontario so swimming is best on calm days.

  • The spectacular lake view is just one of the many highlights of this vacation property. Hand-built limestone retaining walls and steps along the shoreline lead to a limestone shelf that reaches out into the lake. This vacation retreat is located on 268' feet of south-facing waterfront and is comfortably furnished and outfitted to provide a relaxing and memorable experience for all ages. The spacious and open living-dining area features a large picture window with views of the lake and the yard as does the master bedroom. The sun warmed patio is an ideal spot to enjoy the lake view while relaxing and grilling on the propane BBQ, and you'll enjoy dining al fresco on the patio. The cooling lake breezes are wonderful on hot summer days. Local wineries and North Beach are less than 15 minutes away and your rental includes one beach pass which is also valid for the Sandbanks.


    The local road is ideal for biking and walking. Close by is the quaint lakeside village of Wellington, where you can dine and shop for supplies and perhaps play a round of golf at Wellington-on-the-Lake Golf CourseWith 800 km of shoreline surrounding Prince Edward County, what better place to experience canoeing, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, and fishing or to explore the rich Loyalist heritage and discover why this is home to so many talented artists and photographers! You’ll also find the County overflowing with great one-of-a-kind stores as well as special events & festivals throughout the year. Rich in farm-fresh ingredients, gourmet suppliers and top chefs, this area is absolutely fabulous for foodies!
